Short and blunt with wide shoulders. An heirloom variety that is tasty and sweet. Seeds can be sown sparingly 1.25 cm (1/2 in) deep as soon as the soil can be worked, and then every couple of weeks until mid-July.  Needs deep well-worked soil. These carrots store well if kept at temperatures between 0° - 4°C (32° - 39°F) and at 90 - 95% humidity.
