Deep purple on the outside and orange starburst on the inside, this variety was bred by John Navazio. We grow them out in the field and find these carrots tasty, with a subtle spicy note. They also store well at 0° - 7°C for up to 6 months. Seeds can be sown sparingly 1.25 cm (1/2 in) deep as soon as the soil can be worked, and then every couple of weeks until July. Carrots need deep well-worked soil.
